Ross began his coaching career at the high school level with The Steward School and Clover Hill High School before continuing his work with the Richmond Kickers Youth starting in 2012. Over the years, he has played an important role in player development across multiple levels of the club.

He holds a USSF B License, USSF Director of Coaching License, and USSF National Youth License, demonstrating his commitment to continued education and excellence in coaching.

Originally from Paisley, Scotland, Ross played collegiately at Old Dominion University, where he earned a degree in Sports Management and Marketing. His professional career also included time with the Wilmington Hammerheads and Carolina RailHawks before joining the Richmond Kickers.

Ross has a long-standing connection to the club, having also played for the Richmond Strikers in 2002. A fan of Glasgow Rangers, he names Ronaldo (R9) as his favorite player. Outside of soccer, Ross enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Amy, and their sons, Jack and Leo.
