Richmond United is proud to celebrate another successful year supporting Anthem LemonAid presented by Richmond Ford through activations at the 2026 Jefferson Cup and Nike Spring Classic tournaments.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, players, coaches, and community members, Richmond United raised a total of $3,000 to support hematology and oncology services at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR).
Equally impressive was the volunteer support from our club community. More than 170 Richmond United families generously donated their time to operate the lemonade stands, engage tournament attendees, and help spread awareness about the important mission of Anthem LemonAid.
CHoR is Richmond United’s valued community partner and plays a critical role in caring for children and families throughout our region. While CHoR provides world-class care close to home for many local families, patients also travel from across Virginia and beyond to receive specialized treatment and benefit from the hospital’s comprehensive approach to caring for the whole child.
Every dollar raised through Anthem LemonAid presented by Richmond Ford helps support children battling cancer and blood disorders while advancing the exceptional care and treatment provided by CHoR’s hematology and oncology teams.
Richmond United extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this initiative. The success of this year’s activation demonstrates the power of our soccer community coming together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing some of their greatest challenges.
