- U6-U8 ADP is for players born in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
*2018 birth years are eligible for U9 travel.
Sign up today for the Richmond United RED Advanced Development Program (ADP) for U6, U7 and U8 players (2018-2021). RU RED ADP is an instructional program dedicated to talented and enthusiastic youth players. The program is offered to young U6, U7 and U8 players to provide a quality and enjoyable soccer environment that will enhance their skills, coordination, and understanding of the game. ADP is responsible for developing over 80% of the RU RED U9/10 travel players.
Players wishing to participate must register their child in advance for the ADP program. Space is limited and the program is expected to be in high demand so registering early is recommended. This program is open to players born in 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 and registration covers a single season (Fall/Spring).

U6-U8 Advanced Development Program Structure
The U6-U8 ADP players will be placed in teams of 6-9 players based on (ability level, birthdate, size, etc). Game nights will be “in-house” each week against another team from your location of similar ability to keep games competitive for the players. While winning and losing is part of a soccer game, the main focus is the individual and technical development of the players in a competitive environment. Our primary focus is to ensure that our young players have a strong foundation in the basic soccer movements and soccer concepts that they can build on as they grow as players, all in an enjoyable environment that excites them to return to the field each day.
- Four geographically convenient locations: Collegiate Robins Campus, River City Sportsplex, Bryan Park, Ukrop Park
- Monday and Wednesday (Collegiate and Ukrop Park), Tuesday and Thursday (River City and Bryan Park)
- First night of the week practice night, second night of the week game night against another team at your location of similar ability
- Game Format: 5 v 5 (4 + 1 GK)
- One Friday Night Festival each Fall and Spring – all locations together for a game night experience against different location team
- 8 week season – 8 practice nights, 8 game nights, 1 festival night. Fall (end of August to middle of October), Spring (mid March to end of April)
- Price: $325 per season
- **Supplemental ADP Futsal Seasons available in the winter and summer, details TBD at a later date
